I reached Acer Store Support and they told me this for Europe :

Expected release date: Q2 2024
Recommended price: 649 euros

Definitely an interesting price tag considering how expensive is the Asus PG248QP and most likely will be the Zowie XL2586X.
PC: 3080 FE - 7800X3D / Monitor: VG259QM 280Hz / Mouse: Finalmouse UltralightX Guardian Medium / Keyboard: Wooting 60HE / Mousepads: Artisan Zero Soft, Hayate Otsu Soft, Raiden Mid, Hien Soft

Thanks! Added to the post.

The price is interesting but also expected: it doesn't have g-sync model or reflex latency analyzer and is built on their existing stand. It's a bare bones solution like what we saw with xv252q. That one was also around 500 when the Asus with the same panel was ~850 (at least here where I'm from).

That being said, their implementation of the panel was way better than Asus, probably due to not trying to be the first one to push it to the market. We'll see if that's the case here as well.

You're welcome.
Yes definitely expected but still good to have a confirmation. Also Acer Nitro monitors usually go on sale fast, I remember seeing discount on the XV252QF right after its release. While BenQ and Asus ROG monitors never go down in price.

It's clearly seems that Asus pushed to be the first one releasing a monitor with this new 540Hz TN panel from AUO, but it is far from being mastered according to the first feedbacks. I hope Acer and BenQ will offer a better implementation of this panel.

A little update:
A swedish store has it for preorder at 9 990 Kr which is about 875 euros, release this month: https://www.inet.se/produkt/2224309/ace ... 42f-540-hz

I was expecting it to land around 700-750 euros at nordics. Seems like it's not distributed as much as the 390 hz model was. Could also be an early adopter price.

seems like u can order it now. I wonder how the VRB is compared to ULMB2 and DYAC2.
I also wonder if it's possible to overclock the monitor with DSC disabled using CRU. On the pg248qp this is not possible. On the Zowie u cannot disable DSC. If VRB is nice and if overclocking is possible with DSC disabled it could be the best 540 hz Monitor.
