I expected much worse about input lag. Im very impressed . The lack of overdrive artifacts is also great. BenQ, look at it and learn.
However, the lack of 3D and ULMB at 120Hz kills me. I guess the Predator (3440x1440, 21:9, 144Hz) one won't have them probably .

Honestly I don't see the inability to use ULMB at 120hz as not a big deal. What made me excited for ULMB over lightboost is that the barrier to getting near zero motion blur was lowered from 100fps minimum to 85 fps minimum.
With ULMB attained on an IPS panel the only thing that could be better now is a VA version from Eizo.

Would this be a viable alternative to a cheaper 1440p monitor like a QNIX?
Re: Acer announces 144hz IPS 1440p G-SYNC! [XB270HU, XG270HU
more the the qnix is NOT a viable alternative to this
unfortunately ips vs va is a tradeoff of viewing angles and contrast ratio
well not really "better"mutantmagnet wrote: With ULMB attained on an IPS panel the only thing that could be better now is a VA version from Eizo.

After what happened with the swift you better hope there aren't supply constraints. This will be the first time I'm preordering hardware.

I'm REALLY tempted. But after the conversion, it's still almost $1000!!!mutantmagnet wrote:After what happened with the swift you better hope there aren't supply constraints. This will be the first time I'm preordering hardware.
I'm thinking, maybe I should wait until a preorder is available in the US, but that may not happen until after it's available in the UK, which is BS!

Does anyone know the difference between the XG270HU and the XG277HU, if any?

It feels good, it feels really good knowing I can hit that buy button! Now I've got just a little more of a wait!
