Any word on DP 1.3 displays or cards yet?

While all the Adaptive-sync and/or 120 Hz IPS news has been great, I've been hoping to hear if we'd see anything about DisplayPort 1.3 products. I really want UHD@120 Hz and had been hoping it would come this year rather than 2016 or later.
Seiki has been promising that their new UHD range will (eventually) have DP 1.3 support:

But the word on the street is that they won't support Adaptive-sync:

If they aren't going to use dynamic syncing, is there any reason other than 120 Hz support at 3840x2160 to support DP 1.3?
Beyond that, has there been any word from AMD or Nvidia about DP 1.3 support in their next generation of GPUs? The purportedly monstrous memory and fillrates of newer HBM-powered cards could benefit from >60 Hz display support at UHD. Also, 5k displays desperately need to advance past their current dual DP 1.2 solutions.

I would imagine that the next generation of both AMD and NV GPUs will support 1.3...

The very first products I've heard with a DP 1.3 timeline is Seiki displays, around late Q2. As for GPU's it's anyone's guess.

This summer, affordable HDTV maker Seiki announced that it was getting into
the monitor business with a trio of 28-40" displays boasting VA panels, 12-bit
color, and both HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.3 connectivity. Those displays were
supposed to arrive in the first quarter of this year, but Seiki's plans have
apparently changed. At the Consumer Electronics Show last week, the company
revealed that units with HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.3 hotness aren't coming until Q2.

I bet they are not 12 bit panels. MAYBE 10bit, with dithering... marketing departments need to be burned alive now and then for moves like this.
By the way... does anyone know if DP1.3 has adaptivesync in it by default or something?

It's optional, so monitor manufacturers aren't forced to include it.
VA, 12-bit colors, 4K, DP1.3..... can we expect them to be the first 4K monitors at 120Hz or more? If they were like that, and with 3D Vision 2 and ULMB compatibility (G-Sync would be appreciated too), I'd buy a 28" one for sure, even if I have to sell one of my kidneys

At CES 2015, Seiki introduced two new computer-specific monitors with the
SM32UNP and SM40UNP 32- and 40-inch Ultra HD displays.
Whether Seiki can deliver that kind of accuracy in a budget screen remains to
be seen, but we are hopeful. The SM32UNP and SM40UNP also offer 350cd/m2 bright-
ness, 12-bit color depth, HDMI 1.4 (upgrading to 2.0 in Q2), DisplayPort 1.2
(going to 1.3 in Q2) and up to four sources in its picture-by-picture mode. 60
Hz operation is supported over DisplayPort at the outset. Also included is a
four-port USB 3.0 hub. Initial availability will be in Q1 at an as-yet undis-
closed price.
