Ha! I KNEW it wasn't going to be native 120Hz.
A guaranteed 120Hz OC is nice, but 749 is overpriced given the 27" 2560x1440 equivalents on the market, IMHO

Re: MonoPrice Monitor 30" 2560x1600 @ 120hz
Is this monitor just a TN panel that can overclock to 120hz? because that's really expensive...
What movie is 2560x1600 @ 120hz?It boasts a overclockable 120Hz refresh rate, making it well suited for 3D games and movies.

Referencing the announcement from the Main page http://www.blurbusters.com/30-inch-2560 ... 10-aspect/, this is an IPS panel with the guarantee to be able to overclock this to at least 120hz.

This monitor has caught my eye, but lack of sufficient reviews makes me hesitant, especially from TFTcentral.
As I don't have a DVI-D, the cheaper overclockable korean panels are off the table.
Being 30" and overclockable would be very nice.

Do not buy this POS. It skips frames, making any overclock pointless.BCShak wrote:This monitor has caught my eye, but lack of sufficient reviews makes me hesitant, especially from TFTcentral.

Looks like it's down to waiting for the ASUS MG27 or the ACER XB27 ips

Nooooo! Get a good CRT instead. The Iiyama 514 supports 1440p at 96Hz, so it is pretty much equal to any of those LCDs when strobing is on (IPS strobes at 100Hz max).BCShak wrote:Thanksrabidz7 wrote:Do not buy this POS.
