Yes, caution! Because PCmonitors talks about grey-to-grey response time while Samsung just claims a 1ms MPRT (Moving-Picture Response Time), see TECH SPECS in here. MPRT must not be confused with pixel response time. You can get a low MPRT by just using accordingly short strobes for the backlight.

To be fair it seems like half the frames are the same and half are 1 frame behind, is it's probably only about 4-5ms~ difference.

If it's flicker free, no.
So that's like CRT does but with 4 horizontal areas

It's not TN (colors & view anges), looks like fast (?), isn't so low brightness like other motion blur reduction techs (thanks quantum dots) and not so high price ($400). It can be used not only for gaming. Well done Samsung.

It only strobes at 144 hz refresh rate, nothing else...

Ah, and I was already wondering why it looked so out of sync in the video (link posted by "Q83Ia7ta"). I overlooked that the monitor was actually running at 144Hz. Well, that is too bad then. Nevertheless, it is still shows how fast this SVA panel is.

I saw it's 8-bit at several places. I guess it's true.

For me maximum refresh rate is requirement.
