It's possible. But my BENQ XL2420G also has a slight 1mm-offset panel as well, and I see it on an ASUS VG248QE too. 1-2mm mis-positioning within monitor bezels are typically normal for many production runs. Sometimes it's actually a mispositioning directly in the glass (e.g. panel glass is mis-cut by 1mm) and monitor manufacturers have to deal with it. Other times, it's some internal give-take.

But yes, that light cover clip breaking really easily -- not fun. (I'm not sure what it is -- maybe it's under a different word -- can you photo it?) That does merit a replacement if you need it, see if you can get BENQ to send you a new one.

My XL2720Z also has this 1mm offset, sort of. The top left corner seems to be about 1 pixel "lower" in alignment than the top right corner, if that makes any sense. This type of thing is perfectly normal, and rather common in many panels these days. I think I saw this being discussed in the ROG Swift PG278Q thread also. No LCD is going to be perfect. And you can always simply adjust the stand to compensate for this anyway. As long as you have no dead pixels, minimum backlight bleed, and no other glaring defects, don't worry about it.

I don't notice offset alike on XL2720Z. Must be lucky lottery.

Is the underfoot of that thing that fragily(sight forgot blurbuster say it is really fragile)? I accident pushed with my hand through monitor side while holding define r6 and that thing come out and break again. I can't tell if the stand inside somehow not build well? Anyone can confirm this the monitor being used as prototype from the package tell me. Anyway asking warrenty from the shop this time. No way from asus who ask 1st class sending only.
