I wouldn't be the first time vendors come up with fake numbers to get a marketing edge. But let's give them the benefit of the doubt for now, until these things get reviewed.

I wouldn't sweat it, the first gen 240hz 24.5" weren't that great and more time is only better for manufactures to start perfecting and maturing the 240hz tech. Apparently the first gen 240hz weren't optimized for 240hz operation, as least according to rumors posted on blurbusters blog. I had weird issues with lower frame rates looked blurrier on my 240hz screen than my 165hz screen I had at the time and the coating were way too aggressive and had crazy sparkle and blur to the pixels.

redditor got msi nxg251r and ulmb is locked to 144hz max, just like 1ms 240hz monitors.
https://old.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comme ... z_monitor/

basically nxg251r and acer kg251Qsomething are both listed on sites as 1ms but are at the same time being advertised as sub 1ms panels. if these are the new 0.5ms auo panels, it might take better manufacturers or more time to get the most out of them... i dont have high hopes for these early models anymore.

i think im just gonna get xl2546 now so it arrives before christmas.

If you are concerned about response times, Asus XG248Q is good, no AUO 24,5 overdrive problems on this model

I just want >144hz, so badly...but I've held out due to the cost of the XL2740 and impending better tech (hopefully).

Anyone tried the monitor?

It's the cheapest 27 inch monitor, with 240hz here in Denmark by quite a big margin.
They are Advertising the monitor as 1ms now.
