Right now, with 2048x1536 instead of 1920x1080, I don't feel like I have worse graphics. On the contrary, the resolution is higher and consequently, the picture more accurate. Higher resolution benefits my game experience, that is for sure.
Now would I be able to have an even higher resolution with a 1440p monitor instead of with my 1080p monitor? Does anyone know for sure? Thanks,
the picture is more accurate in games or windows/program that aren't games?

I'm not using 2048x1536 in windows, but only in MoH:AA (FPS game). In MoH:AA, I experience that 2048x1536 is better than 1920x1080, or 1440x1080, etc. My monitor is 1080p and 2048x1536 is possible. This behavior is also valid with many other monitors, as I witnessed it when advising a few people to try. Some could go to 2048x1536, some only to 1920x1440. My guess is that the limiting factor is the width of the resolution and that more pixels can be added for the height (for MoH:AA it is advised to use 4/3 resolutions). That's why I'm asking if 2560x1920 is possible with the Lenovo Y27GQ25 because if not, I could be buying it for no gain in resolution nor refresh rate compared to my AOC AGON AG251FZ which is able to run at 2048x1536 that is superior to 1920x1440 (1920x1440 is the highest 4/3 resolution with 1440 pixels along the height).

if you use a nVidia's GpU you can do it whit DSR on control pannel....but i suppos that whit all monitor you can create personal resolution, but i don't know of the refresh rate can be the same (whit DSR yes)

Yes, I am telling you that I did it with my current monitor: running for instance 1920x1440@240Hz with AOC AG251FZ which is 1080p.
My question is whether anyone has proof it is, similarly to above, possible to run 2560x1920@240Hz with Lenovo Y27GQ-25 which is 1440p.

Unfortunately I haven't tested it so far I don't have the Lenovo Y27GQ-25.

Now i've the Lg 34gk950f, only because 21:9
The Lenovo Y27GQ-25 is better in everything than LG...and the Y27gq-25 also works very well in HDR (much better than its HDR400 certification).

I also had an Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ and it was the worst of the three

Hello,

I am interested in this monitor because of the combination of high refresh rate (240Hz) and high resolution (2560x1440). As well as low response time, I guess.

My question is relative to the available custom resolutions with this monitor.

Let me explain: right now I am using an AOC AGON AG251FZ which is advertised with 240Hz in 1920x1080. However, it was possible for me to create a custom desktop resolution (through Nvidia Control Panel) of 1920x1440@240Hz. It was also possible to create 2048x1536@240Hz. Both these resolutions are 4/3 ratio (I am playing an old game, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, with 2048x1536@240Hz). Given the 2560x1440 resolution instead of 1920x1080 and similarly to what was possible with AOC AGON AG251FZ, I was wondering if it would be possible to set a resolution of 2560x1920@240Hz with this monitor.

My question: Has anyone tried or could anyone try to create a custom desktop resolution (e.g., through Nvidia Control Panel) of 2560x1920@240Hz with Lenovo Legion Y27gq-25 monitor?

Many thanks!
I've had Lenovo y27gq-25 for 10 days now and loving it. I'd be comparing it with BenQ XL2746S before I decide if I'd keep it.
I've tried to set 2048x1536@240Hz in Nvidia Control panel, after I press test I belive the resolution is actually being applied - everything looks stretched and shitty. However once test passes, I'm unable to apply that resolution - it has no effect. 2048x1536@144Hz - doesn't event pass test, the screen stays black for 20 seconds. I've also changed Scaling Mode from Aspect (default setting) to Off in monitor menu, but that didn't change anything.
Desktop at 1920x1440 looks nice though - with image at the center of the screen.

Thank you for testing!

Actually, with my 1080p 240Hz AOC monitor I can play MoH:AA game in 2048x1536 or 1920x1440 but I can not run these resolutions in windows (but I can create them in Nvidia Control Panel, just you liked could create 2048x1536).

I would like to know if 2560x1920@240Hz resolution is possible. Would you be so kind to also try creating this resolution?

do you try to active DSR on nVidias's control pannel and change resolution in game ? If the different resolution is need only in game, DSR can be the best solution

Unfortunately, DSR does not work in my game. The player view is truncated and the mouse movements are not correctly taken into account.
