Remarkable response time for IPS!

"The LG 27GL850 has an outstanding response time, better than almost any monitor we've tested so far. Some of the transition times are even faster than 240Hz TN monitors we've tested, including the HP OMEN X 25f"
That's a shame this monitor kind of disappoints me. It's just not want I was looking for. Especially with the 60 hz content being a let down. I think the back light bleed would drive me nuts.

This monitor seems more in my ball park. It says it even has an awesome overdrive and can support 240hz over HDMI which is rare in a monitor. Most don't go past 120 and some only do 60 and you have to use display port to get higher. This one is supposed to be good for 60 hz content.

If 60hz content is important for you keep in mind that most (if not all) high framerate monitors
are optimized for use in the high framerate range, a 144hz monitor could be the better choice for you.

About the KD25F; https://nl.hardware.info/ tested this unit and it has high inputlag bad below 120hz, it wouldn't be my choice when playing at a low framerate.
In use: Asus VG259QM IPS 240-280hz - Hanns-G HS233 TN 120hz
Used before: LG 24LG600 TN 144hz - HP Omen X 25f TN 240hz - ViewSonic XG2402 TN 144hz - Asus VG259Q IPS 144hz

Ones I would like to own in no particular order:

24.5" IPS 1080p 240hz 1ms GSYNC
24.5" or 27" IPS 1080p 144hz 1ms 98% DCI-P3 GSYNC
I've been "stuck" on an IPS panel during my vacation period this holiday season, playing random FPS games I am starting to fall in love with IPS colors, back at home i have the AW2518H, which is great but I can't seem to shake i could be having better. I want exactly what u wrote, right now
