I love this mostly because it means I can stop thinking about getting a 240 hz that I really don't need, because my current monitor is fine and I almost never game anymore.

Predictably, when a new ultra-high-Hz refresh rate is announced, there are always mainstream editors that scream "That Hz is not worth it!". This time around, it's far more nuanced than two years ago -- fewer are doubting the benefits of ultra-high-Hz.
But I have to make two call outs:
Writer that dismiss high-Hz: NotebookCheck / WindowsCentral
Just putting it out there, as a Blur Busters pet peeve.
