So we reckon 499? For a 3/4 year old facelifted monitor ... I was waiting and waiting for this announcement and now I'm seriously considering buying a new 240hz IPS or a used xl46 for half the price of this...

Well, these news aren't really exciting, are they? I was quietly hoping for 360 Hz announcement from Zowie. The changes in "K" version are basically just cosmetic and ergonomic, though I surely appreciate the smaller stand, as it fits my peripheral space management needs better (I absolutely love ASUS VG279QM stand). Anyway, I'll be testing it on release probably, as it has that 0.5 ms GtG panel (Fast Liquid Crystal as BenQ Zowie calls it), so it should remain superior in terms of motion clarity and FPS performance. I have a high disbelief these new 360 Hz IPS can beat motion clarity of top-class TNs, but I surely would like to be pleasantly surprised. My ASUS VG259QM is arriving on Monday, so I'll make my final comparison, it's most likely the only IPS panel that can actually beat TN from what I've seen on this forum.

I just checked local news now, BenQ Zowie XL2546K will be available in my country in October for 2399 PLN (about 640$ based on current exchange rate). I'm definitely testing it on release :D

Better yet, buy a used XL2540.
Less aggressive OD than 2546, and G/Free sync support.

I'm very curious about the new OSD on the Benqs, as I use that a lot.
I you do get one, could you film a video where you show all the submenus and settings, like I did here?

I surely could film a short breakdown in a few weeks when XL2546K is available, but definitely not as long as yours :P I have no access to fast Internet where I live sadly (I live in a house with no access to optical fiber, and currently there are no plans of introducing new infrastructure in that matter... as much as I love living in my own house with a garden, that's the bad side of not living in a block of flats, where super-fast Internet is available), so uploading anything is a torment (I only have 2 mb/s download and 100 kb/s upload, and that's the highest any operator could provide).

oof, fiber isn't available at my place either, but I managed to get VDSL with 10mb/s down, and 3.5mb/s up for 22eur a month (slovakia)

No need for the lengthy explanation on the OSD for me... I just wanna see all the options and submenus.

I know, just saying. Obviously you don't need explanations, you did them yourself. I only mention this because, if you don't see new OSD breakdown elsewhere until I get my XL2546K, I'd rather try to make the video as short as possible. Pictures would suffice too, I assume? Anyway, hopefully XL2546K will be available rather early next month. I'm having a hard time deciding which monitor would become my final choice. There are so many options, including new ones, now I'm tempted to wait for 360 Hz panels, perhaps they will be worth it after all...

I doubt 360hz will be worth.
I mean if BENQ didn't join the 360hz train, a top tier monitor in esports....I dont know what other proof you need that they are cooking something else. Take the K model and wait for like year or year and half for their entrance when first and maybe 2nd gen 360hz monitors line up...
Just check the history of their releases and when are they joining the "hZ party". They are "late" for a reason.
