Highly doubtful. Zowie is specifically focused on competitive FPS e-sports players, and vast majority of them use 24.5" 1080p monitors, it's a preferred standard and a tournament standard apparently. Most of serious Counter-Strike players don't even use native resolution on their 1080p displays, but 4:3 stretched low resolution (or with black bars). Zowie is an unquestionable king among CS:GO pros, being the most used manufacturer, so I'd imagine they don't see much of a point in releasing higher resolution displays.

I'm not saying this size and resolution is the best (it's just what you prefer) or that I wouldn't wish they made a higher res monitor to satisfy other audiences, just pointing out the facts

While I do agree with you, they did so in the past with the XL2730/35 (144hz 1440p with BBR aka DyAc), so it's not completely out of the question.

I'm one of those who prefer Benq over every other brand when it comes to gaming monitors...
even after trying high refresh rate offerings from Dell/Alienware, Acer, LG and Asus.

They just seem to nail input lag and overdrive tuning the best, the most consistently.
(By best OD tuning, I mean not the prettiest, but the most helpful for eliminating motion blur, even in sample-and-hold operation.)

Also, their features are the most well-executed... for example, Black EQ equivalents on other brands' monitors often miss the mark, when it comes to eliminating shadows, while preserving contrast, with minimal visual artifacting (thinking about you, AW2518Hf)... or managing to do it, but with too few steps (...AW2518H).

The S-Switch also became essential for me, because of the 3 profiles you can set up, and switch between on the fly.
Can't comfortably live without such a feature anymore.

I wholeheartedly agree with this.
They're just simply the best.
The biggest perk of that is, you can tweak colors that are not complete dogshit and use the monitor for regular use. You adjust to it so fast you don't even think about it.
On top of everything...regarding colors, I've been using anti blue light on every device i own. My cellphone screen is freakin orange, my monitors are yellowish...then someone comes and talk about colors and they're probably using anti blue light in these ridiculous scenarios.
I don't know, maybe i'm talking out of my ass but...honestly, unless you're not some content creator in terms of videos or photo editing; Don't worry, you will adjust to TN quickly and reap that snappy benefit it still provides along with competitive edge over IPS.
That is, if you're competitive gamer who wants to be the best version of yourself in the game.

I don't have a ton of experience in this arena I just got my feet wet with the XL2746S and it's my first go at a 240hz with MBR. What I love about it is the brightness doesn't reduce with MBR on. I am assuming based on reviews that most other brands have a noticeable dimming that occurs when MBR is activated and I don't think I would enjoy that at all. I scored a 3080 and the performance with 1080p and 1440p is basically equal in the games I play. Apex and Warzone. So 1440p is now on my radar.

MBR brightness range is 67-431 nits, all monitors with MBR lose brightness, even Viewsonic XG270 BlurBuster Approved also dim more and more with each reduced MPRT step. DyAc+ is one exception, one mistery, a special backlight.

67 nits MPRT 0.5 ms (excesively dimmed even with dark room)
160 nits MPRT 1.1ms (maybe interesting with low light room)
258 nits MPRT 1.87 ms (recommended)
431 nits MPRT 3.125 ms (small blur reduction, no worth it)

435 nits MPRT 4.16 ms (Non strobed reference)

DyAc+ backlight seems shot very high brightness spikes during MBR, than no one other strobing backlight can do currently. High enought to maintain (~200 nits ?) with 0.5 ms MPRT, a serioud rival to beat. If DyAc+ can do 200 nits with 0.5 MPRT, is shooting ~1600 nits spikes ! i wonder if realy is touching this level If yes, is amazing, the backlight all strobed monitors need. Propietary tech, no technical details about.

Sadly they cap single strobe DyAc+ under 100Hz. BenQ should unlock it with one OSD setting, show a warning message about flicker, and the player choice. There are tons of 60FPS locked games, than Zowie monitors should show without motion blur. Technicaly can be done, people are waiting it. Some people prefer flicker over motion blur.

This is false that BenQ is the only voltage-booster.

Many other models such as 144Hz ULMB on the 240Hz G-SYNC 25” panels, are able to achieve 300 nits at about 1ms MPRT.

High enought to maintain (~200 nits ?) with 0.5 ms MPRT, a serioud rival to beat. If DyAc+ can do 200 nits with 0.5 MPRT, is shooting ~1600 nits spikes !

Technically, LED can strobe really bright — one could design over 10,000 nits if need be.

Very interesting

If manufacturers can access this backlight, can solve the strobe dim at least in high end expensive models. Is exactly what IPS players are waiting, at least equalize BenQ Zowie TN strobing nits maintaining Ultra MPRT 0.5ms, and be able at the same time to fine tune brightness like in non strobed mode.

XG270 v2 with 360Hz and this backlight would be extraordinary ! BlurBusters Approved of course, to ensure unlocked single strobe range.

Player choice TN or IPS based on its preferences, but both can be used without brightness issues.
