My last monitor purchase was a 240hz BenQ XL2540Z in early 2017. This will be my next one.
IPS looks good, but I don't buy high refresh rate monitors for beautiful colors. That's what my secondary monitors are for. I just want a response time monster.

I just hope nvidia doesn't tune every single monitor that comes out with this panel because it will lead to:
- high prices
- fewer and weird variable overdrive options
- limited ULMB range
- higher lag ULMB
- locked overdrive with ULMB
- no ULMB pulse phaze control
- no ULMB-SYNC
- no ULMB for amd cards
- no variable overdrive for amd cards (not sure)
...and who know what else

Variable overdrive is achievable without a dedicated gsync module. So not worth the money imo.

Yes, they will very likely use this TN panel. Although there are also rumors of 480Hz IPS coming out.

Has there ever been TN panels with good viewing angles & color reproduction?

Or are all TN panels cursed to suck in that respect?
