I'm most excited about Display's having their own mini Frame Buffer to allow the GPU to lower power consumption by temporarily turning off the eDP interface or part of it, incase of a static image or section of the display.
There's also the ability to partially update a section of the screen, and not the entire thing every single time, that should save on Power & Bandwidth.
Any other new features that you're excited about?

It almost feels like USB4 and DisplayPort converging!
(USB-C ports can also double as DisplayPort too, via ALT modes, so it's natural that DisplayPort also borrows a bunch of USB-C features such as power delivery, even almost verbatim)
