Good points from TFTCentral.

Interestingly, for displays to pass they need to have ≤5 ms average response time with ≤20% overshoot and ≤15% undershoot. Those values are a bit too high plus they do tests with flawed 10-90%, non-gamma corrected method. Meaning displays with high overshoot will still pass.
Weirdly enough they test only maximum frame rate. At low frame rates over/under/shoot can get much worse on non-variable overdrive displays, while with variable overdrive response times get slower.

Hmm, these standards look convoluted, at best. They may make things even more confusing for buyers where the intent is obviously to make them less. *Shrugs* We'll see I guess...
