Should I disable FreeSync Premium on my monitor if I don't use it?
I'm currently using an HP x24ih gaming monitor which has FreeSync Premium. The monitor is connected to my laptop using an HDMI 2.0 cable. Here's the thing: my laptop happens to have an NVIDIA GPU, which means I can't utilize the benefits of FreeSync Premium. So, I've been wondering whether it would be wise to disable the setting directly from my monitor's OSD control panel.

Someone with more knowledge than me will probably be more helpful but in the mean time Yes you can use FreeSync with and Nvidia GPU.

Incorrect my friend, I have Lenovo Legion R25i-30 which has FreeSync Premium I also have RTX 3050 on my setup so we can say that we are on same boat. I can utilize it very well. You should check the 3rd option on gsync section on the panel.which means I can't utilize the benefits of FreeSync Premium.
