So im trying to purchase the benq XL2540 the same monitor shroud uses. I see benq direct and frye are selling one that is listed as freesync then I see amazon and a few other websites that have no mentioning of freesync. My question is are all these monitors the same and with freesync. I am just a little confused and on edge on if im buying the right one. I have a 1080 ti. IF they are all the same it makes since to buy it from benq direct refurbished for 375.00$

The monitor you’re looking for is xl2546

Benq XL2540 has FreeSync. XL2546 does not have FreeSync, but Dyac only.

XL2540 is hard to find right now, but I would pick that instead of the 2546, due to the Gsync/FreeSync.

If you're a user of LightBoost/ULMB or other blur reduction, it's worth knowing that the XL2546 has brighter blur reduction (300 nits) than XL2540. That's the main difference between XL2540 and XL2546, and the blur reduction is turned on by default.
