so just to confirm, if a monitor supports lfc then it is automatically on and you don't have to turn it on through monitor/gpu settings?

I recently wanted to try playing csgo with freesync and vsync on and the -3 fps cap but csgo has two different types of vsync. double and triple buffered. I do not know in depth what vsync is apart from it caps fps to your monitors refresh rate and only displays frames when they are needed so does one of the (double/triple buffered) vsync modes work better with the recommended no tear,smooth frametime experience than the other?

Both G-SYNC and FreeSync function on a double buffer.

And since G-SYNC + V-SYNC “On” only holds onto the affected frames for whatever time it takes the previous frame to complete its display, virtually no input lag is added; the only input lag advantage G-SYNC + V-SYNC “Off” has over G-SYNC + V-SYNC “On” is literally the tearing seen, nothing more.
Is it still virtually no input lag if frames are exceed the sync range? I saw the guide image: vsync 2-6 frame delay if exceed g sync range.

It depends on what fallback sync technology you use for frame rates that hits the top end of VRR range.

If you configure VSYNC ON for the backup sync technology, it will generally have the same lag of VSYNC ON.

So you want a frame rate cap to keep your framerate within VRR range. Or use GSYNC+VSYNC OFF.
