Does Freesync add input lag while the FPS is ~25% lower than monitor's max refresh rate? It seems to me in theory with Freesync the monitor should just be drawing empty lines in the VBI while waiting for next frame to enter the buffer, and as soon as the frame is ready the monitor can begin drawing the pixels. What kind of added Freesync related input lag can one expect from running this setup? Does it match with real world measurements?
