Hi, I've been using ACER KG241QS(1ms 165hz) for months, tried all the variations for a while but didn't realize which is better for fps games to get less latency VRB/OverDrive or FreeSync. Any suggestions? Thanks
which setting should i prefer VRB/FreeSync ACER KG241QS

Purpose of Overdrive -- see www.blurbusters.com/faq/lcd-overdrive-artifacts
Purpose of VRB -- see www.blurbusters.com/faq/motion-blur-reduction
Purpose of FreeSync -- see www.testufo.com/vrr
If you are using VSYNC OFF and don't care about quality, you can turn FreeSync & VRB OFF. However, VRB is useful for motion blur reduction & aim stabilizing, which may outweigh the approximate ~2ms average lag penalty of strobing. Also, FreeSync reduces stutter, which is quite useful if your game is very stuttery (this won't apply if your game almost always run at a frame rate above refresh rate).
