Suggestion: ghosting test, but with UFOs strafing back and forth

Post by nexina7350 » 15 Aug 2020, 12:19

This would reflect in-game ghosting better as far as FPS games go. Indeed, in tactical shooters (CS:GO, Valorant, Rainbow six, etc) at high level play people are constantly strafing back and forth.

This also applies to fast paced games such as quake and overwatch, where some "lightning gun" style weapons require strafing left and right to dodge.

I would like the option to choose strafing speed (similar to what we can do now with the ghost test) as well as strafing distance (micro-strafing VS wide strafing).

Does anyone else agree that this would be super useful, and more representative of FPS games ghosting?

You mean like www.testufo.com/scanskew ?

And the bouncing TestUFO Framerates Versus Test?

Although not the same as what you request -- I'll <EMBED> that TestUFO here:

I can probably copy the bounce algorithm to one of the other tests.
