XL2546x Alternative

Post by gxretears » 11 Jun 2024, 06:50

Hey!

First post so I hope this is the right category.

One week ago I got a XL2546x as replacement for me xl2546K which my cat sadly put a giant scratch in.

But I've not been impressed at all besides the better colors from the new panel.

Dyac 2 is very nice and a noticable jump but nothing I'd consider worth the price.
That Aside QC is horrible on those things. It's the second one I got from the store now and both had: 1. Wobbly displays that move while cleaning, 2. Terrible backlight bleed compared to my 2546k which had none this is quite a bummer.
The display also look very "greasy" compared to my old one which is especially noticable on a white background.

Now my question is what would be another decent option motion clarity wise?
I really like BFI as it helps me to not got a headache when trying to read text while moving windows around and or trying to read text while moving in games.
I currently reside in germany and my budget is around 500 euro.

1440p 240hz is also an option I just didn't find any proper information on that online as motion clarity is the most important thing for me.
It should just get close to the Zowie in terms of motion clarity.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe Viewsonic XG2431?
Tried both blur busters approved viewsonic displays before and wasn't happy at all.
They're way too dim and feel a lot slower at 240hz than the Zowie sadly.
