Edited your post to fix imgur image embeds.
Some possibilities
(A) Possibly a sharpness adjustment behavior.
Look through your monitor menus for "Sharpness". Turning that off requires the middle setting (turning off sharpness enhancement / screen blurring) or the lowest setting (turning off all sharpness enhancement). Depends on the vendor.
(B) An issue with hardware sprites for the specific model of monitor.
If this only shows up for crosshairs, mouse cursors, and onscreen menus, there could be a weird problem with this.
I think it is more (A).

How is your XF252Q compared to the KD25F? The latter is an 8-bit panel, which has me curious.

Site admin, thanks for the response. I adjusted the sharpness to no avail. It is as if the colors cause bleeding. Depending on the background of the crosshair/cursor, you do not see the outlines.
InBetweenNames, the color is so much better out of the box with the KD25F. They both feel very responsive, maybe I'd give the edge to the KD25F. One really nice thing about the XF252Q is how compact it is though. But the KD25F has such a sturdy build quality, the image is much crisper, and we don't see those shadows I posted in the original post of this thread. Also, obviously the KD25F is packed with more features.

Maybe it is an overdrive artifacts on static image how stupid it doesnt' sound. Just a new type of bug I'm sure. I had these artifacts only at maximum overdrive value at Acer KG271B (27" 240hz monitor) and at rare cases/patterns and it's stable:

Hmmm.
-- With those new photos -- yes, a possible firmware bug behaviour.
-- Or also could theoretically be a LUT bug or LUT corruption, check Lagom Gradient for weird color bands in the gradient

-- Have you tried a different video port on the monitor (HDMI vs DP)?

No. The funny thing I got same artifacts at overdrive: extreme with another Acer 240hz model but it's 24.5" instead 27" - XF252Q
