Nope, not as of today at least.Conan wrote: ↑22 Jul 2020, 00:48wasnt there a model called XL2546K-B?michaelcycle00 wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 16:46For anyone wondering, the upcoming "XL2546K" BenQ model is already on AMD's FreeSync Monitor's page, and you can definitely trust this website as both the XL2546S and XL2746S were on there weeks before they were even announced by BenQ.

So apparently it's a 24.0" TN panel and not a 24.5" like that Chinese website says, so perhaps any other information there regarding these new models might be false as well (like the product pictures). Nothing about the XL2411K yet though so idk.

Oh it's 100% accurate. Same thing happened previously when everyone was speculating about the XL2546S right after the XL2746S was announced (which happened to be released months after the XL2746S). Good thing BenQ doesn't know about this as we get to find out about their new models before they're announced. I agree with you though, have no idea what their move is with this one, it's basically just a slightly smaller version of the XL2546S. Heck it's even the same refresh-rate... Perhaps they're gonna be offering this one at a cheaper price point since the current (newly released) ones are all $500 USD and above.Uiriamu wrote: ↑22 Jul 2020, 03:24Woah is this likely to be accurate? TN and a smaller 24 inch is weird if its smaller than what it currently is now. I’m confused how this is an upgrade since it doesn’t sound any better than the current xl2546 (unless Freesync Premium is the only extra?)michaelcycle00 wrote: ↑21 Jul 2020, 16:46For anyone wondering, the upcoming "XL2546K" BenQ model is already on AMD's FreeSync Monitor's page, and you can definitely trust this website as both the XL2546S and XL2746S were on there weeks before they were even announced by BenQ.

I was about to buy an xl2546 but am now holding off due to this mysterious K model....
Also I’m from Australia and am curious if any fellow aussies know how delayed things are available in Aus compared to the rest of the world? If it releases in the USA in September does that mean australians might not get it till months after or even next year?
Cheers!

A cheap camera cannot capture the differences, you might need a rather expensive unit to do it. And cameras are different from human eyes. Maybe I can draw a picture to show the differences from my perspective when I have time.
They look almost the same. XL2546s Dyac+ is only slightly clearer, faster. The overshoot is a bit stronger on AMA premium. But you can't really tell unless XL2546s and XL2546 are side by side.
The only way I can tell independently is the color accuracy. XL2546s is 8-bit right? So XL2546s' grey looks like grey, not greenish grey on XL2546. Overall image accuracy is a bit better. But I don't think image accuracy is an advantage, grey means shadow and slow color, that a little green can boosts visibility.

Has anyone tried overclocking the xl2546s or xl2746s? On the xl25 I managed to get 245hz pretty easily. I see no frame skipping when using the test but at 245hz, the ufo in the ghosting test keeps warping back a little bit. When running the refresh rate test, it detects 244.97. Does anyone know why the ufo could be warping back like that?

May I ask you what you would do if you were in my situation of choosing between a Xl2546 ($900AUD) and an XL2546S($700AUD) with a myseroius xl2546K looming in the background? Haha I currently have a 10 year old Xl2410T and was hell bent on upgrading for games like valorant but I’m completely lost. I’m not even sure if I’ll use dyac.Tom Clancy's E-sport wrote: ↑23 Jul 2020, 00:47A cheap camera cannot capture the differences, you might need a rather expensive unit to do it. PPeople mention the Xl2546S version has a completely new panel (Fast Liquid crystal) but is it really that much better for the price premium.

You can get XL2546 if it is a lot cheaper, the difference is subtle and it won't improve performance in a large proportion.

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S & XL2546S (*DISCONTINUED*) Owners Thread
Hey all,
I'm having troubles reducing the crosstalk on my 2746s with DYAC on.
Current settings:
DyAc+: Premium
Black eQualizer: 12
Color Vibrance: 10
Brightness: 100
Contrast: 65
Sharpness: 9
Gamma 3
Color Temperature: 98, 94, 100
AMA: High
RGB Range: RGB(0-255)
Intensity 5, Area 1 - same as Dirty Scrubz but it seems the result is so much worse. I also tried his 182Hz/1350 VT with no improvement.
Adjusting Crosstalk Area using the strobe utility only seems to be impacting the image brightness and doesn't seem to tweak the crosstalk on any of the rows.
standard 240Hz with no custom VT

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Canth, I no longer use any custom VT as I run at 240 Hz and found it wasn't needed. For area/intensity, here's my settings:
Gaming profile 1 (for FPS gaming):
DyAc+: Premium
Black EQ: 10
Color Vibrance: 10
Instant: On
Picture Mode: Gamer 1
Brightness: 100
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 6
Gamma: 4
Color temp: 95/93/100
AMA: high
Color Weakness: Off
RGB Range: 0-255
Gaming profile 2 (desktop use):
DyAc+: Premium
Black EQ: 2
Color Vibrance: 10
Brightness: 85
Contrast: 52
Sharpness: 6
Gamma: 4
Color: 95/93/100
AMA: high

Thanks for the reply! I matched my settings but the result is basically the same as the image I posted. It seems like more crosstalk than I should expect based on your captures, don't you think?Dirty Scrubz wrote: ↑24 Jul 2020, 17:46Canth, I no longer use any custom VT as I run at 240 Hz and found it wasn't needed. It seems odd that adjusting Crosstalk Area in the strobe utility doesn't have any noticeable change on the crosstalk. I feel like I'm missing something but maybe it's not as bad as I think.
