Any AW2521HF/HFL owners?

Post by shedokan » 25 Jan 2021, 06:36

Hello, any owners of this alienware? I was wondering how is the swivel on this monitor, how much left/right can I actually turn it?

It's very good. However, I find the monitor blurry at 240 fps and I'm sending it back. As example, I cannot play Children of Morta with this monitor because blurriness makes me dizzy.

I too own the monitor and am very happy with it. It also has the best white balance / color accuracy out of the three 240hz IPS monitors I tested. Input lag is extremely impressive and even on the super fast overdrive setting, where i don't see any artifacts, overall very pleased.

With it being 240hz though, you can't always get that FPS in all games as it requires a lot of juice, so keep that in mind. Definitely one of the best all-round 240hz monitors out there currently.

Should I use Fast or Super Fast?
And by the way, do you find the screen bright enough? I'm coming from a TN 240Hz 1440p Lenovo and I felt it was way brighter, I set it on 100% in the OSD, is there any way to make it brighter?

And in NVIDIA do you see it as HFL or HFLA?

Thanks in advance
