The viper8k may be better than other mice in theory, but not necessarily in practice. In a real setting the lack of a wire resulting in easier and more consistent movement and lower weight of the gpwx typically result in the gpwx outperforming it. Evidence to this is the complete lack of pro players using the viper8k and the near dominance of the gpw and other viper models. My own personal experience in Kovaaks and Apex matches it. The wire is more of a hinderance than the polling rate improvement, I simply perform better with the gpwx.
Simply put, I don’t see any need for wireless peripherals when I’m sitting stationary at my desk.

You also have to be careful with “pro” players. they just grind a lot
spout that truth m8. would upvote if there is such a forum feature here.

only if u are low edpi. which is again, objectively and subjectively(duh) inferior.
I'm not on low edpi. Your theory crafting is grand, but takes little account for reality and nuances of aiming, in which you seem rather poorly versed.

Razer Viper 8k hz is objectively and technically the best mouse available right now. However the shape is a very important factor when using a mouse. If you cant aim well with that shape, 8k hz Will not help you, even if you notice it smoother.

As for wireless mice, I stay away. I don't care what others say. Using wireless mice on 200hz+ refresh rate makes me notice the polling rate inconsistências

And I hate that reviewers still compare wireless vs wired using click latency... I can literally show a 125hz polling rate mouse having lower click latency than a 1000hz one. We should be testing sensor response, behaviour and consistency at different movement speeds, not click latencies

nuance of aiming is achieved by highest possible edpi and lowest possible cm 360 and littlest body stance jitter, there's nothing grand about basic science.

gwtest has been for 2 years. but they are still fixated on paid reviews of keyboard tests cheaper chinese brands etc which is a shame. recently they are using 10 basic level cloth pads to test a couple mice, none of them of any real interest

can someone who has this monitor and who plays cod warzone tell me how it behaves at fps around 180-200?
Is it still worth it?

I'm trying to figure out if do 200 fps on screen at 390hz is better than doing 200fps on 240hz?

if the panel does 390 updates per second it certainly has a more reactive and faster response in game than a panel that does "only" 240 updates, but this is assuming to be able to do 390fps.
If I do 200 fps on a 390hz what do I perceive different in my gameplay compared to doing them on a 240hz?
there are more or less tearing?

Another doubt I have is on the backlight strobing, if I do 200fps does it still work fine or does it only work fine if I am going to 390fps?

Scannout time is 1000 divided by Hz

390Hz scannout is 2.56ms
240Hz scannout is 4.16ms

The UT4 server I play on is locked at 250fps. While the motion stutter is noticeable due to the fps < hz, the difference felt, in my experience, justifies the purchase. From the choice of monitors I've came from going from the Asus PGQNR to this Acer was a bigger difference than the 240 to the 360. And I'm pushing fps with a 5800x + 3080Ti + 1:1 IF 1866/3733 with tight timings.
