'm undecided between Benq XL2540k, Msi MAG251RX, XG2431 and LG 27GP83b. I'll be playing 120hz Halo mostly.(Series X)

The XG2431 has a variable-scanrate panel so you will have no latency penalty at 60hz and 120hz, it also does support PureXP (strobing) natively even as low as 60hz so I guess that the XG is a no brainer for consoles.

It also performs better than the MAG251RX in terms of motion clarity due to its newer 240hz IPS panel.

It depends, if you are not satisfied with your current monitor and you are considering an upgrade then the XG2431 is exactly what you are looking for in your PS5 setup and it comes at a reasonable price.

The XG seems like an improvement in every way: latency, clarity, colors, viewing angles...

That being said I used to play with an XG2402 (basically the same as your XG240R) myself and I acknowledge that it is a great monitor.

What are some settings for xg2431 for ps5 gaming. I play battle royals typically apex legends. Currently, I have PureXp on low, I do find on PureXP Off mine it seems a little faster but there’s ghosting. Thanks in advance!
