i used the vertical calculator on the 280hz setting, then i lowered the vertical total 7 points from 1309 to 1302 to make it a nice round number, hopefully this doesnt cause any issues - it seems like od100 performs weird when ur not exactly on 235hz.

od100 has some secret sauce at exactly at 235hz as discovered by someone else earlier in this thread, it's really good, however i'm back using 280hz

Looking to see if anyone can assist me in the best settings for my ASUS VG259QM. Currently i play alot of competitve cod and on most maps average 200-250 FPS. Im looking for the best settings overall. Colors, OD setting, Shadow Boost, basically everything that will make this thing give me my best foot in comp. Hey all, is OD120 with 240/280hz still the way to go for this monitor or has anyone figured out anything new? I see stuff about the 235hz OD100 but is that actually better?
(both methods are safe for the long run? Been using OD120 for maybe a year now, most games I play I get aroound 180-250 fps)

That's weird.. this is mine, bought ~3 months ago. Guess i got lucky?
No dead pixels, no inversion artefacts, rather unnoticable IPS glow.
I actually like it more than my XG249CM, somehow..

Just got one from amazon, exactly the same batch 2021/24/3 MCM107. No backlightbleed, no deadpixel , almost no ipsglow aswell, seems related to this bacth.


Liking it very much, really like its colors and white out of the box. Dark scenes are satisfacotry aswell for being IPS.

Don't know why some guys in other threads bash the awful colors so much, I quite enjoy it and im kinda nitpicker in that regard. Maybe I have been lucky with this particualr unit, besides not geting an AUO, sorry for the guys on the previous pages about that. Motion wise is more or less pleasant aswell at 280hz OD 120. Havent played around with tweaks almost

Im doubting to keep it or get the asus xg259cm, was leaning more towards the xg259 but the lack of information set me apart.

Maybe just get the XG259CM also, compare and send back the one you don't like?

Trying to find a xg259cm for a good price in my contry, here the cheapest I found was 400e on a physical store, on amazon that would be the best for trying it out its 453, too expensive to blind purchase it. Thats why I was researching some information about this one but it is very scarce

I'm keeping the vg259qm , it performs nicely for my needs so it's somewhat unreasonable to look further. We'll have to wait a little to know more about that xg259cm
