I’m still learning about strobing and loving this so far. I want to ask, for example in some games I get 144 fps or 180 fps and I play at that respective refresh rate and fps. Anyone knows best values of purexp to use for this specific refresh rates ? Or should I use the values in the OSD for these 180/144hz ?

Hi guys, i currently have the XG2401 TN which is amazing 144 hz monitor that i use to play fast game like ut2004 and quake live.
This monitor really improved my aim and is very fast and smooth in game.
I think about upgrading with the XG2431 240 hz but i'm a bit scared if the XG2401 is better as i heard that TN monitor are faster or better input lag.
i would like to see if anyone has upgraded from XG2401 to XG2431 IPS and how it feels...
If the XG2431 was a TN monitor it would be a monster.

Modern post-2020 fast-IPS at 240Hz can be fairly competitive to pre-2020 TN.
It's when you get new faster TN (e.g. "E-TN" or "Fast TN") that the chasm reappears again.

Hi Chief.
Do you have plans to include PureXP on a 27'' monitor at 1440p? I mean, I own a XG2431 and I don't wanna change it unless there is a recommended or PureXP bound 1440p.
Thank you in advance.

Hello, i would like to know if this monitor is still worth it, because it's only by one wek ago that it was awailable in my country for the equivalent of 300 usd price, is there any chance that a new better alternative will hit the market in the next year?

While not as easy to get yet as in the Americas, I've noticed more and more Europe stores having XG2431. About time!
It's also now on some several Europe online stores such as Amazon UK.

To clarify, PureXP already exists on a few 1440p panels. However, none of them pass "Blur Busters Approved 2.0" certification testing.davidsnk17 wrote: ↑26 Feb 2023, 20:38Hi Chief.

Hey everyone, and hey Chief. I read the XG2431 how to article Chief wrote and while the instructions make sense, the one thing I am not clear on is QFT. This monitor will only be used on a PS4 and PS5, so am I right in thinking QFT is only applicable if the monitor is plugged into a PC? Because you would need a custom resolution made in ToastyX's software which isn't something you can save in the custom settings on the ViewSonic, correct?
I'm trying to get as close as possible to CRT motion with 60hz on a PS4.
