Dunno if this is the right place to post this.
I have a TUF Dash F15 2021 (FX516PM) which, according to the ASUS site, has an Adaptive Sync screen.
I have Adaptive Sync turned on in Intel Graphics Command Center, along with VRR in Windows Settings, but that does not get rid of screen tearing.
I've also tried forcing VSync on via NVIDIA Control Panel, but that does not seem to do anything on this laptop.
Edit: It only happens when playing games. No tearing in desktop.
Graphics Drivers and Windows are up to date.
Any suggestions?
How do I fix screen tearing on an ASUS laptop?

If it looks like this, https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/ ... ing_issue/ that's a hardware defect. Contact ASUS for a repair.

Nope, not like that. Just normal screen tearing.Boomchakadah wrote: ↑16 Jun 2023, 10:56If it looks like this, https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/ ... ing_issue/ that's a hardware defect. Contact ASUS for a repair.

Reinstall both the Nvidia GPU and intel iGPU drivers using DDU. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPqUeU09cf8&pp=ygUDZGR1
If your laptop supports G-sync, enable it in the Nvidia control panel. if not, enable adaptive sync in the intel control panel.
Make sure the fps is below your monitors refresh rate.

I've already done all of that.Boomchakadah wrote: ↑17 Jun 2023, 00:15Reinstall both the Nvidia GPU and intel iGPU drivers using DDU. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPqUeU09cf8&pp=ygUDZGR1

- I deleted both NVIDIA and Intel Drivers via DDU
- I tried drivers from MyAsus as well as drivers from the manufacturer.
- I used RTSS to cap FPS to 141 (The laptop monitor is 144hz)
- Adaptive Sync is already enabled in Intel Graphics Command Center, and the laptop does not support G-Sync.
Screen tearing is still there.
