Re: Benq XL2430T Settings
Just updated my settings post at the first page of this thread
Re: Benq XL2430T Settings
Going through my setup now and noticed this fact. Will this be remedied as I read further through the thread?pinobot wrote:Whenever i program a setting under Gamer1,2 or 3 and recall it i lose highlights.
When i select another picture mode i get the highlights back.
Can anybody confirm this.

No, unless there is a firmware update for the monitor.
Re: Benq XL2430T Settings
I use 120Hz VT1500 Intensity 22, Area 44.
Area 0 seems to looks even better.
Does it matter for latency if i use Area 0 instead of Area 44?

Re: Benq XL2430T Settings
Just wanted to say thanks for figuring this all out and posting it here! I know this will save me a lot of time. My XL2430T just arrived at my doorstep. Can't wait to try it out!CybeRFernandes wrote:** Updated at 07/03/2015 **
So, after almost a week tweaking and configuring out the BenQ XL2430T, i managed to get a balanced mix of settings i'm sharing with all you guys. The BBR tool wasn't needed at all since this monitor brings up the new Motion Blur Reduction which comes with Intensity and Area settings on the OSD (same as Strobe Duty and Strobe Phase) that take care of job. I've created a custom resolution of 1080p @ 120Hz with VT1500. Hope to help other XL2430T owners and I'll be looking for your opinions and sugestions

Just curious, why would you need a firmware update? What needs fixing?
Re: Benq XL2430T Settings
Hello!
I just made an account to post this.
A lot of this has helped me achieve a much better display performance and I feel like I just want to add a few things as a thanks:
- Keep Color Vibrance at 10
use software if you need vibrance, the built-in function ruins your blacks which nvidias doesnt.
Download DisplayPilot, update it through the software, reboot and let it install it's driver
This step is absolutely essential, my bright colors would all blend, my hotbars in FFXIV looked smudged because the color definition in bright colors was terrible before this driver update.
Sharpness 5
Is better in my opinion
