Have this monitor been using it 360hz capped fps at 500. I do notice it’s blurry though, I have it set to fast mode. Without nvidia image sharpening it’s blurry, what’s the optimal settings for trying out ulmb? Do I cap fps to 240hz or what?

Anyone knows how motion blur and shuttering or flickering on gsync 360hz in games with 80 fps only?

How this monitor behaves on mismatch fps!=hz

Not sure, don't think I have seen this happen.

I do not notice any blur what so ever on my unit. Using the same preset if I remember correctly.
To try ULMB optimally I found to just setting the monitor to 240hz (I use this for that: https://12noon.com/?page_id=80 - have two shortcuts for 360hz and 240hz) and in the NVCP I use ULMB as monitor tech. - I verify by going ingame if I see ULMB Pulse width being tune-able or under the Current display information should say ULMB or Gsync or Normal mode.

Last few days been testing Fast Sync with ULMB (option C) as one of Chief's posts said it could work nicely:
That said, if maximal motion clarity is your numero uno goal (in cases where it's more important than minimum possible absolute lag) -- then ULMB + ULMB Pulse Width + VSYNC ON + powerful GPU (or slightly lowering Hz to make it easier to match fps=Hz), this combo becomes your friend in matching or beating CRT-era motion clarity.
For smoothest ULMB, you may want to use framerates matching refreshrate using either:

(A) VSYNC ON
...latency will be high though

(B) RTSS Scanline Sync
...latency will be low but will look awful whenever framerate fall below Hz

(C) Fast Sync + in-game framerate cap matching refreshrate
....latency lower than option A, but slightly higher than B, while being much easier to configure and much more forgiving
Forgive me for not knowing or remember where exactly I found these, I keep notes of stuff myself elsewhere. Maybe Chief can chime in; or re-confirm if this is still true.

Can someone who owns a AW2521H turn off the monitor via the power button. Then flash a light at the screen and see if there’s image retention. I’m not sure if the monitor doesn’t actually turn off completely, because it doesn’t happen if I unplug the power cord. Wondering if I received a faulty panel or if it’s just a design oversight.

Doesn't for me, plus I also hear it unplug sound from the computer.

Was there an application open when you tried this? For example, I notice it clearly if Spotify is displayed.

Yes had my browser open, even tried it with a game, no difference just straight black it seems. Make sure it's not your eyes by blinking or looking away for a second to confirm, I guess.

Yes, this is normal on some Alienware monitors. I know AW2721D does this too. Not a retention though, power switch only turnes off the backlight and pixels stay active.

Same problem with MSI NXG253R ( anyway it's normal, it's the same panel ) it's not Alienware, it's this panel.

Oh I see. It's probably nvidia thing. Keeping pixels warmed up.
