I pulled the trigger on this monitor, it seems really good.

so i asked this XL2566K owner, and he said DyAc on the new XL2566K is night and day difference compared to the DyAc on the 240Hz XL2546K model

"Night and day difference" is a bit strong word I would say. I've never experienced it but can say with confidence. Obviously its better/smoother due to 1.4ms faster refresh, with minor improvements here and there. But overall from what it looks like they just stacked a new panel in there and called it a day. I'm little disappointed by that. They say "we hope to create products that can deliver better overall experience to all players", but than kill the statement with "a specification loaded product is not our goal". They sure could use additional features for better experience. I'd understand if price was reasonable, but it's ridiculously high for TN panel.

Its better. Its like a 390 Acer but with all the perks of a XL2546K (had both). I like it. Took a week though to really appreciate it.Ziehesh wrote: ↑30 Oct 2022, 22:29Better than Xl2546k?CYCLOPSAG wrote: ↑29 Oct 2022, 14:45https://twitter.com/xTheWhale_/status/1 ... Gvc_wE9DWw

I'm heavily considering picking this one up. The only reason I wouldn't I suppose is because of potential competition with ASUS. However, as nice as 500Hz would be, I unfortunately doubt the ASUS's blur reduction capabilities or GtG would be up to par with this Zowie at that refresh rate, and phenomenal backlight strobing is a must for me. It would be great to see ViewSonic strobing at 360Hz too. If you didn't care about strobing, maybe you'd be more excited and willing to wait for the ASUS over this one.

im considering picking it up too but $600 is just fkn nuts. U also have to consider the fact that it's a first generation TN 360 hz panel. It's literally the only 360hz tn panel. I'd like to imagine the other companies are working very hard to come up with their own new gen panels with more competitive prices.... and then there's the 500hz coming up too. $600 is just too muchSirslicey wrote: ↑01 Nov 2022, 15:20I'm heavily considering picking this one up. hi, does anyone have good/decent color/picture settings for this monitor?
i'm only really playing overwatch right now and while its the smoothest monitor i've ever used it just looks very bad on most maps and i'm not even particularly picky when it comes to this kind of stuff.
