You're correct - I returned the Zowie XL2566K and the Asus PG27AQN, kept the AQDM OLED. I just can't go back to LCD and DyAc+/ULMB2 seem to cause me immense eyestrain, but that's just my experience. Currently only playing MW2 comp ranked when I have time and I'm a Crim 2 player for reference if that means anything - most of my favorite streamers own all 3 panels hilariously enough (Shroud being my absolute favorite and possibly the highest skilled across all genres of gaming at a high level). You can't go wrong with either to be honest, and I'll probably demo the P248QP as well which comes out in a few weeks according to Asus' reps (in September).

I was just about to ask if it's worth waiting on the flagship Asus ROG P248QP w/ULMB 2 (24.1" 1080p540hz E-TN panel) instead of the Zowie XL2566K (24.5" 1080p360hz) w/DyAc+ but I made an impulse purchase and Memory Express already shipped my XL2566K. This is purely for competitive ranked FPS (CS/Val/Apex/CoD/Halo).I can return it in store locally before opening it though (Memory Express), what do you guys think? My main PC rig is an i9-13900KS OC/4090 OC/96 GB DDR5-6400.

My main driver right now (mostly for productivity and immersive gaming) is a 42" 4k138hz 16:9 OLED (Asus ROG PG42UQ, spent $2k CAD on it and it still has awful HDR color gamut/tone mapping even with the latest V040 firmware update though). It's a great monitor otherwise for daily use. For comp FPS multiplayer gaming I'm obviously forced with downscaling the resolution to 2560x1440p in-game from it's native 3840x2160p resolution which produces a centered 27" image if "No Scaling via GPU" is selected via Nvidia CP - which introduces additional input lag I believe so it's not ideal. If I select 1920x1080p the centered image becomes 23" which is a bit too small for me. Just to be sure, it's definitely confirmed that using a non native res in game even in full screen exclusive mode introduces additional input lag/latency correct?

Previously I had a 38" 3840x1600p 21:9 Ultrawide (AW3821DW) and really loved it for my work/productivity but they AW/Dell didn't make a QD-OLED version of that, only the smaller 34" AW34 everyone and their mother loves on the internet. I tried it but there's no going back to a smaller 34" 1440p UW after getting used to the extra vertical real estate from a 38" 1600p UW.

I guess I should have made a separate thread in hindsight, my bad.
Hey Hello ! so in the end what did you do?

I seem to have seen you somewhere say that you send back the Zowie and took Oled 240hz, right?

In addition to the poor refresh compliance of these LCDs...

You really make me want to switch to OLED, I've tried almost more than 20 LCD's monitors this year, I can't find anything correct.

I noticed a problem with my monitor: if I go to color -> color temperature -> user define and put Blue on 100, in videos where the sky can be seen (or anything blue actually) there are some weird pixelated artifacts showing. Seems to affect wallpaper as well, and even games. Do you also have that problem or is that a problem with my unit only?
Anyone??

Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcgswXNfrZ4 , can anyone copy my settings and check if they have the same issue? As you can see if I put blue on 91, the issue is barely noticeable, but still there unfortunately. I can't find a fix.

You don't need CS GO to test this thing. I found a picture on google that shows those weird artifacts. Link: https://img.freepik.com/free-photo/hand ... jpg?w=2000
For the love of god please turn off the beep sound! xD

more seriously, you're not talking about color clipping due to color saturation and the limitation of TN 6 bits + FRC ?
I have no idea what the limitation of TN 6 bits + FRC is, I'll google it now. I recorded a new video, higher in quality this time (and also recorded in CS2 instead of CS GO). It seems to be related to color vibrance. Anything below 9 vibrance looks perfect. Zowie support says this is normal and happens on their monitors as well. I even sent it to warranty, and they replaced the display, but the problem is still there.

And sorry, it still has the beep sound haha.

Hi guys, im new here, i found this post on google when i was searching about my problems with my xl2566k. I think i need your help.

My english is pretty bad, i will try to explain the problem.

I tried the classic Ufo test , and i can clearly see stutters every where. The browser results in SYNC but the problems seems releated to the monitor.
Watching the 360fps line with Dyac+ Premium On, AMA High i can clearly see the black lines in the red part of the ufo appear and disappear during the motion. Obviously the static image is perfect, but when it starts to move starts the "flickering" issues.
Also reducing the pixels speed from 960 to 480 or 240 , the lines appear and dissapear slowly during the motion.

Is it an hardware problem ?
Because i tried another xl2566k some days ago that did not have this problem. I replaced the used one because it had 6/7 dead pixels in the middle buying a new one but this problem is triggering me a lot.

Thanks to anyone will help me :)

EDIT: After 2 days trying different options, color, sharpness, dyac on/off ecc ecc I resolved resitting the monitor. Before i tried also to unplug the power for 20 minutes but nothing. The solution was to reset all.

Hello guys.

Someone else having pixel inversion on this monitor? I got it today and i can see vertical and horizontal line when moving , but not when static. Which - to my understanding - means pixel inversion.

I did "reset all" like OP above me, it might have helped a little bit, im not sure. Its not super obvious, but still noticeable.

I ve read somewhere that its common for "K" series. Is it? Should i return it and get another one or its normal for these panels?

How does this monitor strobe quality at 120HZ compare to it's 360HZ?

thinking of buying it strictly for 120 HZ mode

Either this BenQ or the XG2431 I want full screen with no or extremely minimal cross talk
