I really want to try 360hz TN but I just can't justify the 650-800€ price tag.
Still no news about other manufacturers planning to use this same panel, I expect a price drop when 480hz will be released.

Re: ZOWIE XL2566K Discussion Thread [24.5" 360hz TN]
Yesterday I recived the xl2566k and had a go with it during evenings matches a few ive notices while playing with it.
The clearity is much better then the acer 390hz and the 360hz monitors.
No difference in inputlag
Decent colours for beeing TN
The displayscaler is weird/different from previous monitors ive used I cant scale 720p to fullscreen if i use the "aspect ratio" in nvcp, no mather what kind of scaling option i use in the monitor settnings. however if i use fullscreen or gpu scaling then it works.
Ive notice Vertical lines when i aim. Dont know if this is a qc issue and i got a bad batch or if its supposed to be like this.
Dyac+ Can have some "jitterness" to it and mixed with the vertical lines makes the image look aweful.

Yes but only in motion, ill try to take a photo
Re: ZOWIE XL2566K Discussion Thread [24.5" 360hz TN]
That is classic pixel inversion. Looks like latest gen TN panels are are still prone to it. Its usually most noticeable in very slow and odd number of pixels per frame motion.
That is probably because u are not using it correctly. Everybody is praising DyAc and other blur reduction modes, but I bet 90% of users don't utilize it properly. Keeping framerate unlocked isn't ideal for motion smoothness. You want perfect Frame rate = Refresh rate and flat frame times to avoid jitteriness or tearlines. Especially in low persistence modes where jitters get more amplified. The problem is achieving that perfect sync. There are now couple of third party limiters that can do this, but it can still be unstable and add some minor latency. Thats why DyAc Sync (DyAc+VRR) would come in real handy. Unfortunately they didn't implement such feature.
Good luck achieving perfect sync without VRR.

Re: ZOWIE XL2566K Discussion Thread [24.5" 360hz TN]
Wasn't there an Asus monitor where you could use G-Sync and ELMB at the same time (ELMB Sync)? I'm wondering why there is only one monitor that I've heard of that has this particular feature (maybe there are more, I don't know)
But why haven't more manufacturers implemented this feature, is it so hard to develop?

Idk why none of the manufacturers did it correctly. Either they were limited by something or current implementations were cheaper/easier to do or they just don't know what they are doing.

Yeah, that's really a shame. If someone could do it correctly it would be a really great feature.

Oh great! Thanks for forwarding.
I think top one is 240 and bottom one is 360 Hz. Higher refresh rate always has narrower spacing between frames assuming both are taken at same speed. And GtG proportion is better at 240 Hz.
