It's almost guaranteed to be 100Hz min-frequency strobe, but please let me know if anyone is able to pull off lower-Hz strobe.

Oh great! Thanks for forwarding.

I think top one is 240 and bottom one is 360 Hz. Higher refresh rate always has narrower spacing between frames assuming both are taken at same speed. And GtG proportion is better at 240 Hz.
Also for stationary-camera smartphone photo, make sure smartphone shutter is at least 2x faster than refresh cycle. This minimizes chances of accidentally capturing two strobe into the same camera exposure.

Sometimes you have to download the ProCam or DSLRCamera app to do this, to force fast shutter speed.

I think its pursuit camera because frame is blurred on 360 Hz shot. Can be hard to judge sometimes. Pls add Sync Track to full screen strobe crosstalk test.

Those apps can be weird. I've tried dozens of them. While they provide more flexible shutter, other basic settings are lost.

Doesn't seem like it.

Reduced size thumbnails just make it look blurry.

You have to zoom to original size.

It looks like multiple exposures, like camera shutter too slow for refresh cycle. Need camera shutter that's no slower than 1/360sec.

I know XL2566K does better than that.

I hereby invalidate those reddit photographs as worse-than-actual-XL2566K

Thats probably 240 Hz you cropped.

I meant the monitor frame.

It does seem like you are correct, according to this:

Perhaps there are some DDC/CI commands that are able to be used by the Blurbusters utility to adjust strobing? How would one look for these?

Try hitting "F" after launching Strobe Utility and using profile A and B, to see if either work.

Failing that, edit BlurBustersStrobeUtility.ini configuration file to find XL2566K DCC's

Service menu pictured, from ggoki again. You enter the menu by pressing the joystick button with power button (while the monitor is turned off)
