I would like to emphasize that this panel is by far the most sensitive to temperature among the monitors that I tested.

Running a Ufotest with Dyac right after switching on this monitor compared to when the panel finished warming up (~40mins) can result in drastically different results.

What Crosstalk Area settings are you guys using with the Blur Busters Strobe Calibration Utility?
I find the best results with 25 after experimenting with 15 for a few weeks.

Haven't looked into the Blur Busters Strobe Calibration Utility yet. Can I accept your settings and let them run while playing?

Yes, don't forget to switch to Dyac Premium when you set these settings because (I could be wrong so feel free to correct me) the utility can save 2 different Crosstalk Area values respectively for Dyac High and Premium and clicking on "Enable Motion Blur Reduction Adjustment" immediately force Dyac High but I guess that 99% of the people using Dyac will stick to Premium for obvious reasons.

It would be better with a variable refresh rate. So I need to find the perfect frame rate to refresh rate :D ?

Please note that frame rates lower than the refresh rate can also cause double screen effects.

Persistence benefits are most evident when frame rates are synchronized with refresh rate.

Hey Axaro, does your xl2566k also make a faint buzzing/coil whine sound from where the power cable is plugged in? Just trying to gauge whether most units have this or I was just unlucky.

For what it's worth I can hear faint buzz when I listen close to the connection on my unit. It's so quiet that I can't hear it over my computers fans at idle so I'm not bothered by it.

I see, I think all units have it to some extent then. No point in returning for another one.

If $1000+ Gpu’s can have coil whine so can monitors I guess.

I haven't played around with Blur Busters Strobe Calibration utility before. I tried to install it and enter your values. It seems to give a bit nicer results to strobing. How does this app work though; are the values somehow stored on the monitor itself? How does one make sure settings are applied and preserved? How to possibly reset to monitor default values?

I tried to do testing wether Strobe Calibration Utility "Persistence" setting does anything apart from changing brightness on XL2566K. It does not seem to actually vary pulse width of strobing - or atleast it does not have a visual effect on clarity if it does. If anything, brighter looks a tad cleaner.

There is no coil whine on my unit.

I just tested and it seems like Crosstalk Area values are permanently saved on the onboard memory (regardless of what profile you are using) until you decide to reset your monitor.

There's a thing that can be very confusing when trying to use this utility:

If you disable Dyac, open the utility and enable Dyac it will not show you your tweaked (and active) settings.

Instead, if you enable Dyac first, then open the utility, it will show you your tweaked settings.

I assume that everything is stored on the EDID EEPROM, this is why power cycling doesn't appear to reset these values.

You need much faster moving speeds to notice a difference. At 1000 px/sec you won't notice sub 1ms MPRT (persistence). For 1000 px/sec motion to look perfectly sharp you need 1ms of MPRT, for 2000 px/sec you need 0.5ms MPRT, and so on... Zowie is always sub 1ms, I think 66K at premium is about 24% duty cycle which makes it 0.66ms MPRT at 360Hz.
