can i check where did the information that the s2522hg is probably the fastest unstrobed 240hz ips? if i were to buy the xg2431 i wont use the strobing feature so i'm wondering if it's more worth to get the s2522hg. im having a sale now where i live and the xg2431 is going for $332 usd and the s2522hg is going for $265 usd.
Thanks!

As you can see, the LM245WF9 SSA3 used in the S2522HG is
very fast, most likely the fastest 240hz IPS panel on the market.

Level 3 feels to me more responsive with less blur. I tried with gsync but in Valorant it feels like there's a bit input lag. Maybe i needed to cap the fps below 240? I normally cap it at 240. But i heard that if you use gsync you need to cap the fps below the refresh rate.
I kinda agree, Level 3 is indeed
slightly less blurry but when testing 1920pps in Smoothfrog I could easily notice overshoot when looking at the RGB traffic lights.
As for Gsync, definitely cap at 237fps or even lower if the fps cap is not consistent.
My experience with Gsync was great, as I previously said, motion clarity is so good on this monitor that screen tearing was
very noticeable without Gsync. The issue kinda disappeared when approaching 400+fps in games like Overwatch but a 237fps cap was visually better.
Have you tried warzone 2 with gsync? I play Pubg and my fps is around 130-230, and the change of the refresh rate is very noticeable, on the mouse and visually. In Valorant for example, because the frames are at 237fps all the time, it feels great.
Without gsync in pubg, the game feels more responsive and its easier for me to spot players and do quick mouse movements.
How was it like to play Warzone 2 when the fps isn't consistent?

I always managed to output 200~237fps when running Warzone with Gsync so I didn't really notice any dip in refresh rate.
Tearing was much more noticeable than 30-40fps drops.

Did you turned on vsync in the Nvidia control panel with the gsync?

no, I did not. I also used the ingame framerate limiter.

Why is there so much overshoot on OD Extreme Freesync off, but not with it on? Do the response times change?

When I can start seeing the UFO body white dots at 240Hz sample and hold, I already know it's a great 240Hz specimen.
But just wait until OLED.

It's not rare to see gsync/freesync causing the overdrive to have different behaviour, manufacturers generally try to use weaker overdrives so that fluctuations don't cause overshoot.

240hz OLED, especially if paired with strobing, could be the motion clarity endgame for many users in this forum but the 999€ price point from LG is a little bit high for most consumers.
I know that Asus will also use that panel, which is great, I also noticed that Dough (is it Eve 2.0?) is also planning to use it.
I just got a refurbished 2566K for 500€ (btw this is the only way to buy this monitor since it's always out of stock, because of that it comes with a -130€ price tag), if that won't be a huge motion clarity upgrade compared to my XV252QF I might end up refunding it to save money for OLED.

10bit 240hz trick is not working on vg258qm. Any advice? I can run 10bit only 144hz.
