Got it.. More money to spend on the Channel. I'm so excited about the xl2566k. If it was 1440 27 inch and decent looking might be endgame.

So I dont need to mess with anything else huh? what about the

ViewSonic ELITE XG251G 25??
or
Asus vg279qm?
Acer Nitro XV252Q Fbmiiprx?
Acer Nitro XV252Q Fbmiiprx?
Acer Predator XB273U GXbmiipruzx? - the only one close that's 1440....

Those are the only other 5 options... I see

Chief says PUREXP is even better than dyac...

Just doing a follow up on this post; I currently have both the vg258qm and xl2566k on my desk and am testing them head to head. The xl2566k is my 2nd copy and still has the buzzing noise from the power connector. Aside from this, the xl is a beast and clearly the superior monitor but not by that much. The difference between the 2 is so marginal that the average consumer wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The vg258qm at 280hz + secret overdrive mode performs damn near the same in game at half the price. I don’t use dyac/ELMB so the VG is the better price to performance but having the peace of mind that the xl is the best of the best is also something to consider. I think I might just keep both for now and sell the XL if the upcoming asus E-TN ends up being good.

Also to note, the colors on both monitors are very good for TN panels once tuned; the asus is slightly better and much brighter. The Vg also has better viewing angles but that doesn’t really matter for the use case of these panels.

For most people, I’d say the vg258qm is the best bang for buck e-sports monitor on the market.

Hello, I currently have a Zowie XL2566K 360 hz monitor that I enjoy very much in PUBG and Quake Live. I currently play Apex aloth where I focus on movement like superglides and Mantle Jumps and there for cap the game at 180 fps to pull of these jumps and glides more easy ( at 300 fps its more difficult to hit a specific frame)
I have seen some messages here of people that prefer the Asus VG259QM for Apex over any other monitor. Also players like Faide who has the most insane movement I ever seen still uses the Asus VG259QM
I can buy a Asus VG259QM pretty cheap I am thinking to do this and just try it out. ( I can always resell it afterwards) Do you guys think this a good idea?

I think you should focus on your skills, not monitors. I say this as an Apex player for over 2000 hours. You already have the best eSports monitor to date. The fade had good movement and at 144hz, you're crazy if you think changing monitors will turn you into a fade or another player with good movement. A monitor can improve your aim, not your movement!
monitors: TN ACER 1916 (75Hz)>TN ACER 1917 (75Hz)>XL2540K (240Hz)>IIYAMA MASTER VISION PRO 451 (CRT 160 Hz)>xl2546k>omen x 25>24g2zu>xv252qf

A monitor cannot change your movement? I am not looking for a discussion, but you not understanding that the superglide and mantle jump are frame related movements (the lower the fps the better the opportunity) makes me think you not crazy but u def. hit a plateau in your Apex skillset. No pun intended.
