I'm not sure of any monitor that has DYAC and GSYNC, I'm assuming you mean ULMB.PapaJuan wrote: ↑13 Jan 2023, 12:22Interesting.
So, if I was playing a game where I only get about 150 - 200 frames, would it make sense to durn DYAC off and turn on Gsync, or keep Gsync off and use DYAC?
I usually would go for the clearer option, but I also hate stuttering, which happens in the games I play at the lower frame rates.
From my understanding, if you're looking to get the absolute edge in your matches, keep all forms of vsync off including gsync so you can get the fastest screen render, albeit with a bit of tearing. And as for DYAC it depends on you really. VRR(gsync) will help with BFI(black frame insertion, DYAC, ULMB, ETC). The trade off is preference, do you value the absolute clearest motion clarity? Or do you want the fastest image refreshing?
