extreme sensitivity to stroboscopic effect

Post by randomuser51 » 31 Jan 2023, 06:00

Hi, this is my first post, but this is probably the website where i learned what this was that i was experiencing in my vision, in any game in which there is moving objects everything is blurred out and massively stuttering, making me physically dizzy playing -for years i thought htis was a hardware issues, i replaced my monitor my gpu, etc. at the same time i also had an eye condition, i never connected the dots that what i was experiencing was just serious sensitivity to the effect, so i guess my questions are, has anyone elses vision effected their gameplay in this way? i can see mostly fine, although in one eye it is so blurry it is in the 200/20 category and cant be corrected yet. and if there is any specific monitor or settings that could help with my problem
