Post by CyberBex » 31 Mar 2023, 09:45

Hi , I own a XV252QF Monitor which can be overclocked to 390hz .
I Would like to which has lower latency/response time , Overclock off (360hz) or Overclock on (390hz)

It's about the same. 390Hz has 0.1ms lower average latency, so I'd say it doesn't matter.

As @RealNC already mentioned, the frametime latency reduction is minuscule, however, 390Hz is technically better than 360Hz (extra 30 refreshes per second), so long as the overdrive performance isn't worsened with the overclock on your particular model, that is.

You can compare the two with:

If the trailing/ghosting amount is about the same at 360Hz and 390Hz, there's probably no reason not to use the higher physical refresh rate, but up to you.
