Asus VG248QE

Post by n3mesis11 » 05 Aug 2014, 00:47

Been having trouble getting 120hz with light boost. I use 2 monitors and was only getting 60hz. I installed sparkys app and it didnt do anything. I disabled my 2nd monitor and was getting 120hz. Im running a single gtx 770 GPU as well. any ideas on a fix?

also: is it possible to get 120hz without being in 3d mode?

Mixing refresh rates is not recommended, but newer versions of Windows tend to do it better, as long as the 120Hz is the primary monitor.

Are you using ToastyX Strobelight to turn on/off LightBoost (3D mode / blur reduction), via a hotkey? This is good if you never use 3D glasses but prefer blur reduction.

If you are using a shutter glasses emitter and need 3D glasses, use Control+T

I'm not using glasses. Just trying to use the blur reduction for csgo and other games.
