XL2430T vs. XL2546K

Howdy all. XL2430T owner here for the past like 7/8 years. I loved the monitor from day one as the step up to 144hz was life changing.

I was wondering if anyone here has made a similar change to me and if it was worth it?
Has monitor tech really progressed that much in the years between the monitors release date?
