I'd like to upgrade my gaming computer from 1080p to 1440p.
I have narrowed it down to the two 1440p monitors below.

- BenQ 270QM ($629 USD) https://www.benq.com/en-us/monitor/gami ... /spec.html
I'm leaning towards the 2710Q since I don't think I'll get the most out of the 270QM for gaming with my current GPU. I also plan on upgrading my GPU in a year or two at which time I can get a better monitor to fit my new GPU.
Does it make sense to buy the 2710Q now as a one - two year solution until I upgrade my GPU or go over my budget and get the 270QM? If there will be a huge difference between the 270QM then I'll pay the extra money but would prefer not to.
