The Pros and Cons of High Refresh Rates?

People always talk about the typical pros for high refresh rates such as smoother motion, easier in fast-paced gaming and nicer desktop experience. But what are some of the cons that you've faced that are rarely brought up if at all?

For example, I found that VLC media player at 360hz has a weird stutter effect

I also found that going back to slower frame rates such as watching TV or using my phone looked like it was 15-20 frames a second but it was just my eyes being used to the higher frame rate which was very disorientating.

What do you think should be adressed more often when it comes to high refresh rate pros and cons?
