Please recommend a monitor for me

Post by kls1998 » 28 Mar 2024, 10:00

Good day, I want to purchase a monitor mainly for playing CS2. I live in Germany and want to spend somewhere around 300€. I dont need more than 1080p/24", i dont really care about stuff like viewing angles, basically i just want the most responsive product i can buy with my budget but that you can still somewhat recommend outside of just competitive gaming. Should be at least 244hz. Please recommend something for me. Thank you

If you can find a X25, XL2566K, XV242F (or any other E-TN, but the latter two are probably out of your budget) go for these.
if your PC can run 1440p fine, something like the 27G1S is also a good choice as higher resolution can lead to crispier character models (1440p@240hz)
If you cannot find any of the above mentioned models, try 24g2zu or it's derivatives (it's the XG2431 panel, iirc XG249CM and VG249QM1A have it)
Do not get anything else (in this price range) that I haven't mentioned (especially from BenQ). It's archaic, trash, dead on arrival.
