Got Permanently Banned by "ServiceServices" mod from r/MotionClarity for posting about how good the XG2431 is

Hey Supermodel. I'm not the moderator who banned you but I checked modlogs to review the situation.

1 - Your ban was changed to 5 days (temporary) moments after. It's not permanent.

2 - You were not banned for disagreeing about the monitor. You were banned for toxicity & discussing politics. Randomly talking about MAGA, Trump & Russla while insulting members during a civil disagreement/debate is prohibited.

Everyone can express their opinions if they do so kindly. A lot of people have been reporting you for toxic behavior in comments & posting about your ban on a different forum afterwards highlights very compulsive behavior. I hope you will return with a different approach with how you handle disagreements/criticisms.

With that said here are some of the things you said that led to a moderator suspending you -

FIRST OFF that is NOT what he banned me for, he specifically told me that post you referenced he didn't like my response and it would be his first and last warning, it was when I responded that he is spreading misinformation is when he banned me and then he tried to use that post as the reason, the little troll wanted me to apologize to him and instead I responded with he is spreading misinformation and I am sure he deleted a few posts.

^ also did you warn him for flame baiting that led to this post I made?

Because he clearly instigated this reaction from me over the course of many days.

Did you check the log to see where he was flame baiting? and where he gave me a first and last warning for that post I made?
Or did he conveniently delete it so you couldn't see it so he could then pass this same post off as the reason he banned me even tho he specifically said he was giving me a warning for the post rather than a ban? that Mod is a little flame baiting liar and someone needs to check him on his behavior

Falsely accusing people of "Misinformation" and "lying" and "bragging" over and over even tho my posts got more upvotes showing the community agrees with what I had posted. He falsely accused me of having a bias and wanting to prop up the XG2431 even tho I clearly explained that I hate the matte coating which yes looks like pig shit mix with Vaseline this has one of the worst matte coating, however this doesn't change the fact that he is talking utter bullshit when he tells me I am preaching misinformation about XG2431 being 200 nit with strobe and OLED is approx 100 nit with BFI.

A post like that doesn't just come about out of the blue, your mod is a Toxic kid stalking me and harassing me rather than trying to have an actual conversation and he clearly does not deserve to be a mod if he insist on flame baiting like this.

His entire "you are bragging and boasting" is completely childish.

What I post on other subs like bicycles or r/news etc has nothing to do with motion clarity, that moderator is a childish prick for abusing his mod powers after he literally instigated that response from me with his constant STALKING and TROLLING behavior.

If he cannot research basic facts he has no business arguing and FALSELY accusing people of misinformation.

What I posted in that thread was WORD FOR WORD that Chief Blur Busters wrote here, I take all my knowledge from Chief.

His entire plan was to flamebait me over many days into a response like this so he can ban me because he cannot come to terms with basic facts, I never seen a childish fuck like that, let alone a moderator how anyone like that can be a moderator is beyond me.

Also I was trying to reference the only thing I could compare him to, I can't think of anyone not in a cult that behaves like him hence the maga reference, it wasn't actually meant to be "Political"

And if you behave ignorant and stupid then that is what people will think you are, it's NOT a bannable offense to call anyone ignorant or stupid on Steam forum and valvehas the strictest rules of any forum.

In any event I posted here to warn people of that Sub reddit and I posted the link to the thread so everyone can see the entire context at least those the mod didn't delete. But I am happy to see people here are already aware of these subs and these mods

I'm agree with some of your point, contrast...low hertz strobe....coating...obviously.

But i don't get the point, you come to complain about a ban here, except that Reddit and this subreddit are not linked to Blur Busters, I am not a Reddit or Blur Busters moderator but here we are not here to talk about "troll/ban" or that kind of childish thing.

Since I saw you posted here, even if I have nothing against what you say, you are only talking a single monitor : the XG2431, it has qualities, everyone has understood it, for more than a year, ok.

The thing is that, you don't only "defending" a monitor but you try to impose your opinion and your choice, your experience and your use on people, except that everything you say remains only your subjective vision of things, you must understand that playing at 60hz with strobing is a huge niche, you play fighting games ? not all people, you play retro games ? not all people, you doesn't play at high hertz ? a LOT of people do ! practically no one is looking for this and today we have methods which are more or less equivalent to this, anyway it's good to have a "good" strobing but for games which have a lot of clutter (for some reasons that i won't debate here), OLED or some others are a better solution, that's how it is ( oh and Rtings didn't have test all screen and need to change some of their methodology )

You say that the moderator is harassing you without giving proof and you come to complain by going off-topic on a screen forum but you have insulted people like Optimum Tech and made innuendoes for others in a post from a few days ago here for ? defending your one and only screen once again, your attitude is a bit childish tbh and no one wants to see that, I won't defend the Reddit moderator because Reddit is just a garbage place, the Karma system is the worst thing ever created on a website so we actually don't really care who have "more upvote"

I have the same monitor but I'm not going to comment on every post bragging about it and alleging that it can match a 7-800hz monitor blablabla. A number of people cared and it got the ban lifted so it clearly mattered not to mention anyone with sense knows full well how niche the motion blur community is.
I am sure that mod was punished so I am satisfied with the outcome.
