Another monitor thread for 240hz

Post by seahawk » 25 Apr 2024, 08:19

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Apologize for the another monitor thread(already searching the forum and gaining a lot of knowledge) but prefer to ask here... I play mainly Fortnite on AOC 24G2SP at 165hz but decided to go up to 240hz and i am in the look for a new monitor... the main thing is what i am looking for is good input lag at 240hz and to work well with amd gpu (yep i know it is not good for fortnite but it does the job for me). I do not have specific budget in mind (sky is the limit :D ) but prefer to stay on 24-25 cause i found i am struggling with aiming on 27(maybe it will take some time to get used to it). I do not want to go 360hz cause i will not manage to keep 360fps anyway in Fortnite but if there is a thing that is working with good input lag on 240fps and is 360hz will consider it as well. I narrowed it down to Zowie xl2546X (500GBP) and ViewSonic xg2341(300GBP) but worried with the lot of quality issues with the ViewSonic... Any other suggestions are welcome...

BenQ XL2546X is what you want. Nothing beats fast TN+DyAc right now. This is coming from someone who believed otherwise until I experienced it myself.

ViewSonic XG2431 cannot even compare and is massively overrated even if it weren't for the quality control issues.
