Despite the GP27U being a buggy mess firmware-wise which I knew before I bought it, I love this monitor and the picture it gives me. To be honest the firmware issues aren't that bad for me though I wonder, should I upgrade to the 1.4 firmware? Mine shipped with 1.3 and I have no glaring issues but since the changelog for 1.4 is copy-pasted from 1.3 I'm not sure if I should take the gamble.
On the one hand I hope it might fix the minor issues I have with the bugginess but on the other I fear I ruin the image, HDR or VRR somehow by updating as I've heard some horror-stories.
Did anyone here with a GP27Q or GP27U go from 1.3 to 1.4, what were your experiences?
Coolermaster GP27U users, should I update to firmware 1.4?
